
New Vegas felt like a coherent world, populated by real people, in a way that genuinely hangs together. Satisfying combat with tons of weapons, armor and A LOT of fun. I'd say they both have their good qualities, but that there's plenty to criticize in both as well. I think New Vegas has a much better setting, I like how the game is very bright and lighthearted compared to how dark and depressing F3 was. Worse atmosphere: New Vegas is post-fallout-post-apocalyptic, taking its inspiration from late 1970's movies such as “A Boy and His Dog” and “Mad Max”. Or destroy BOTH the Enclave and Brotherhood of Steel.
